The flavor of the pear combined with the dark chocolate was intensely delicious and subtle! It made me want to create new deserts based on this bar, not to mention an incredible chocolate chunk cookie!

This was pretty much my standard white chocolate bar. It tastes great, the coconut adds a bit of texture, and it is sastifying. Its easy to find, as most stores sell it in the specialty chocolate section. While its a good bar, it isn’t the BEST chocolate bar I’ve ever had. White chocolate can be waxy, and this is no exception. Still, its a good bar, and I’ve eaten quite a few.

I ordered this as a treat for my daughter — she adores these chocolates. They are hard to find in stores, and so worth the effort of looking for. The dark chocolate is a perfect balance with the intense pear. Wow!

I have had some “chili” chocolates before.. some that were just spicy and bitter and simply just a bad experience for my mouth… then this comes my way, with the combination of the mild spice and warm heat of the chili and the smooth rich creamy texture of this chocolate, combines to make soothing waves of heaven melting in my mouth! WOW! WOW! WOW! If I never ate any other chocolate again, other than this, I would be completely satisfied!

Truly AMAZING! HIGHLY Recommended!

What a surprise when I only received 3 bars total! The seller blamed it on Amazon putting in the wrong information. The ad was marked as sold out for a few days. Yesterday I was checking and the same ad was back on. When I contacted the seller they again blamed Amazon. They were again offering a pack of 12 for $[...]. Today they have changed it to a pack of 12 for $[...]. I will be keeping a close eye on them and hope you do too! An honest seller would have checked their listing and honored their ad. They are saying that Amazon confused thier listing with other sellers of this same product. They are the only ones selling Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate 70-Percent Cocoa Bars, 3.5-Ounce Bars (Park of 12). How could Amazon have gotten this confused! The seller should always check their listing.

In my opinion, Lindt Bittersweet is the most delicious chocolate on earth. It’s perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter. When it’s fresh and at room temperature, it’s smooth, velvety and completely satisfying. No matter how many other chocolate bars I try — and one could try new ones infinitely these days — Lindt Bittersweet trumps them all. Every time I come back to this bar, I feel completely satisfied. A lot of dark chocolate hits only the back of your tongue, or has a chalky undertaste. This one is more encompassing. More complex, has just the hint of caramel that even good dark chocolate should provide, and yet it’s never cloying. If they ever stop making this old standby, I will be a chocolate lover without a country!

My husband received one of these for Christmas and he LOVED it so I tried a piece and was equally pleased. He was going to the store every couple of days to get another so I decided to eliminate those trips and stock up. The bars are large and slightly thick so there is enough to share. The chocolate has a great feel in your mouth and the filling is very creamy and smooth. These are definitely a treat.
